A Real Online Tank Magazine Written by Real RC Tankers.

Letter from the Editor

Welcome to Proving Ground, a publication of RC TANK HQ dedicated to the Radio Control Tank community. As a much needed publication for the RC Tank community, Proving Ground will attempt to fill the void in the niche RC Tank hobby with current news and events, tank clubs, new manufacturer products, modeling techniques, electromechanical technical upgrades, dioramic art and of course your battle stories and events in your area.

Our success will be determined by the diversity of all things RC Tank related and input we get from you. All modeling scales and manufacturers will be represented as well as custom and scratch build vehicles. Armored Fighting Vehicles (AFV’s) from all eras, prewar, WWI, WWII and modern will be represented. Whether a modeler, artist, RC enthusiast, war-gamer, military strategist or AFV history buff, all will find interest in Proving Ground articles.

Proving Ground as its namesake suggests, will evaluate and bring to the community newsworthy developments, product reviews, guest articles from experts and innovators in the hobby, coverage of RC Tank battles and of course the tanks! As avid modelers and battle re-enactors of these steel beasts, we take pride in the technical innovations and historical accuracy designed within these vehicles and to a greater extent remembrance of the sacrifice of those wielding these machines. This publication will allow the sharing of information and creativity unto a worldwide community.

THQ is uniquely positioned to source a wide range of articles from talented hobbyists worldwide who are willing to share their knowledge with others. The THQ website is regularly accessed by many thousands of readers thus publishing online is the most efficient way to share what this hobby has to offer. I do hope you enjoy this first issue and wish to thank all the authors for their contributions. If you have any suggestions for future issues, or wish to contribute an article, please contact me.

If you wish to be involved with your world tank community, all we ask is that you become a member of THQ.

So from the entire THQ team and myself, have fun!

Cheers
